Submissions are now ***OPEN*** for the Winter 2020 contest!!

Welcome to the submission page for the Hammer to Nail Short Film Contest. We can't wait to watch your film! Please read over these general guidelines carefully before submitting.

The contest is open to everyone. Whether you're a student or an old pro and no matter what genre or style you're working in, we are excited to help connect you to our audience and put your film in front of the eyes of industry professionals. But that's not all, as there are some great prizes for the taking! In order to make this contest possible, the following requirements will be strictly enforced:

Your film MUST be 19:59 minutes or less. Unfortunately we absolutely CANNOT consider films that are 20 minutes or longer.

You must own the rights to your film and take full legal responsibility for the content contained therein (music, footage, etc.).

Films can belong to any genre, format, or style.

We can accept either a link to your film on a site like Youtube or Vimeo (make sure to include a password if required) or a compressed video file of your film in .mov format no greater than 1GB in size. That said, we would much prefer link submissions!
